Homemade Biryani Masala By Pappan’s Kitchen

 

Make pure and delicious Biryani Masala at home and forget packet spices.



Ingredients

 

Cumin Seeds………………………….1 Tablespoon
Black pepper………………………….1 Teaspoon
Green Cardamom ……………………6
Black Cardamom……………………..2
Bay Leaves……………………………..2
Nutmeg………………………………….1
Mace (Javetri)………………………….1 Piece
Star Anise (Badiyan Ke Phool)……..4
Red Chilli Powder…………………….1-1/2 Tablespoon
Coriander Powder…………………….1 Tablespoon
Turmeric ………………………………..1 Teaspoon
Salt……………………………………….1 Teaspoon
Citric Acid (Taatri) ……………………1/2 Teaspoon
Dry Damson (Aalo Bukhara) ………..8 To 10
Biryani Essence ………………………..Few Drops



 

Method

 

  1. Finely grind all the ingredients except Dry Damson (Aalo Bukhara), Black pepper and Bay Leaves in a grinder.
  2. Now add Dry Damson (Aalo Bukhara), Black pepper and Bay Leaves to the grinded spices and also add few drops of Biryani Essence.
  3. Store it in an airtight jar, and use it as needed.
  4. This whole Biryani Masala is enough for one kilo of rice.
