Almost all of us like to eat potatoes, Potato paratha, potato chips, fries and potatoes are also added to our meat curry and pulao.
But today we will make potato dessert which is very tasty and delicious like the other recipes of potatoes. that called ”Aloo Ka Halwa (Potato Halwa)”.



 

Ingredients

 

Potatoes…………………………750 Grams after peeling
Sugar………………………………300 Grams or To taste
Ghee……………………………….250 Grams
Almonds Chopped…………… As much as you want
Milk…………………………………1 Glass
Milk Powder……………………..150 Grams
Green Cardamoms………………4



 

Method

 

  1.   To make khoya, first, add half a glass of milk and a tablespoon of ghee to the saucepan, and boil it.
  2. when it comes to a boil, turn off the flame and put it in 150 grams of dry milk, and mix it very well and make it khoya.
  3. Boil the potatoes, cool and then mash them.
  4. Put 250 grams of ghee and 4 crushed green cardamoms in the pan and heat it a little. Then add mashed potatoes and fry on a very low flame and keep stirring continuously.
  5. After 20 minutes, add half the chopped almonds and fry for 10 minutes more.
  6. Add sugar to taste. Add the remaining half a glass of milk little by little.
  7. When the halwa leaves the pan and the ghee separates, the halwa is ready.
  8. Add the remaining almonds, add khoya and turn off the flame.
  9. Dish out and enjoy delicious Aloo Ka Halwa (Potato Halwa).
