Ingredients

 

Potato…………………………………………………………………..750 Grams
Oil………………………………………………………………………..1/4 Cup
Dry Damson (Aalo Bukhara) Pulp ……………………………….2 Cup
Chopped Garlic……………………………………………………….1 Teaspoon
Chopped Ginger………………………………………………………1 Teaspoon
Fresh Red Chillies…………………………………………………….4
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder………………………………………..1 Tablespoon
Red Chilli Powder…………………………………………………….1/2 Teaspoon
Roasted and crushed cumin seed Coriander seed…………..1 Teaspoon
Sugar……………………………………………………………………..1 Teaspoon
Crushed Black pepper……………………………………………….1/4 Teaspoon
Black Salt………………………………………………………………..1 Tablespoon
Salt………………………………………………………………………..To Taste
Whole Spices Powder (Garam Masala)……………………….1/4 Teaspoon



Method

 

  • Wash and peel the potatoes well and cut them into large pieces, and then boil the potatoes to full done
  • Pour two cups of warm water into a cup of dry damson and strain and separate the 2 cups of pulp.
  • Add a quarter cup of oil to the pan, When the oil is a little hot, add four fresh red chillies and fry for about a minute.
  • Now add chopped garlic and ginger and cook till golden.
  • When the garlic and ginger are golden, add two cups of Dry Damson (Aalo Bukhara) Pulp and add all spices except Whole Spices Powder (Garam Masala) and cook till it thickens.
  • When the sauce thickens, add 1/4 teaspoon of  Whole Spices Powder (Garam Masala) and boiled Potatoes, keep stirring Slowly and cook until the oil comes up.
  • When the oil comes up, cover it and keep it on a very low flame for two to three minutes.
  • After three minutes, turn off the flame and remove the lid and dish out.
