How To Make Bhuni Seviyan (Roasted Vermicelli) By Pappan’s Kitchen

 

This Bhuni Seviyan (Roasted Vermicelli) recipe is made and sent to the mosque on the occasion of Shab Barat or Shab Miraj or any other religious festival in the village.
And if guests come suddenly, this recipe is made for them, because its packets are kept at home and this recipe cooks very quickly.



Ingredients

 

Brown Vermicelli(Seviyan)…………………1 Packet of 400g
Oil……………………………………………………1/4 Cup
Sugar………………………………………………..3/4 Cup or To Taste
Crushed Green Cardamoms………………..4
Water………………………………………………..1 To 1.25 Litre



Method

 

  1. Add a quarter cup of oil to the pan and add 4 crushed green cardamoms and fry for a minute.
  2. Now add Vermicelli and fry on low flame for 5 minutes.
  3. Now add sugar 3/4 Cup or To Taste and mix it very well.
  4. Add a litre of water and cook on medium to high flame.
  5. After four minutes, when the water is reduced, cover it and leave it on a very low flame for 15 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes, turn off the flame, remove the lid and dish out, Delicious Bhuni Seviyan (Roasted Vermicelli) recipe ready, enjoy it.
